Terms & Conditions
1. Orders & Payment
- Cups, Boxes, Mobile Charcuterie Cart, Graze Tables and Add-On Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all grazing tables and large event orders to reserve your date.
- Cups, Boxes, Graze Table and Add-Ons Full Payment: Final payment is due 14 days prior to your event. Orders not paid in full by the due date may be subject to cancellation.
- Boards & Platters: Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cups, Boxes, Graze Tables and Add-Ons: Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance may receive a partial refund (excluding deposit).
- Cups, Boxes, Graze Tables and Add-Ons within 14 Days: Cancellations made within 14 days of your event are non-refundable due to perishable inventory and preparation time.
- Rescheduling: We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.
3. Minimum Notice
- Grazing tables require at least 14 days’ notice.
- Boards, cups, boxes, and platters require at least 7 days’ notice.
- Need something sooner? Please contact us - we will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests.
4. Pickup & Delivery
- Boards and Platter Pickup Available: Available from our commercial kitchen at 1539 5th Ave S., South St. Paul, MN at the time you select during checkout.
- Boards and Platter Delivery: Complimentary Local Delivery - Free delivery within 10 miles of our St. Paul kitchen. Includes careful transport & basic setup so your order is ready to enjoy. Please review our Delivery & Travel Policy for details.
5. Setup & Cleanup
- Grazing Tables: Our team requires 1–2 hours for setup. If no on-site attendant is selected, we will return at a pre-scheduled time (typically 2–4 hours later) to clean up.
- Cups & Boxes: Setup is included, but cleanup is not provided.
- Boards & Platters: Are securely wrapped and ready for you to enjoy. No setup required.
6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
We take food allergies seriously but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Please communicate all allergies and dietary needs at the time of booking.
7. Liability
Slate and Honey is not responsible for food once it has been delivered or set up at your event. Proper storage (temperature control, refrigeration if necessary) is the responsibility of the client after setup.
8. Photography & Marketing
We may photograph our work at your event for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing prior to your event.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
