From Boardroom to Boards
Family and food have always been at the center of my life. For years, I worked as the Chief Operating Officer of a busy law firm, thriving in strategy, leadership, and building systems - but my heart was happiest in the kitchen, creating artful charcuterie boards for friends, family, and neighbors.

What began as simple gatherings around my table has become a curated experience for others.

After more than 15 years of perfecting my craft, my loved ones encouraged me to follow my passion and turn a hobby into something bigger. With a leap of faith and plenty of late nights, Slate and Honey was born.

Each board, cup, and grazing table is thoughtfully designed to be as stunning as it is delicious - transforming everyday moments into indulgent celebrations and elevating events into unforgettable occasions.

FAQs

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Slate & Honey is fully licensed, insured, and Food Manager Certified. All products are processed out of our commercial kitchen in Saint Paul, MN.
What is included with a grazing table package?

Every grazing table is styled with attention to height, texture, and visual appeal. Packages include:

  • Wooden boards, risers, greenery, florals, serving vessels, cheese knives, tongs, and labels (styled to match your event theme).
  • Eco-friendly disposable serveware such as plates, napkins, and utensils. Upgrades are available.
  • Custom signage and labels for meats, cheeses, and allergens so guests can navigate confidently.
Do you offer custom florals?
Yes. Custom florals are available for an additional fee.
Can I have someone on-site during the event?
Yes. You can add an on-site attendant who will restock, serve, and assist guests throughout your event.
Do you offer pick-up options?
Yes. Select products such as charcuterie boards and platters are available for pick-up from our Saint Paul commercial kitchen. Please contact us to confirm availability.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes. A setup fee applies to all orders — $100 for grazing tables, $100 for mobile charcuterie cart and $50 for boxes or cups.

Payment Terms

Charcuterie Boards, Veggie Platters, Fruit Platters, and Caviar Platters:
Payment is due in full at the time of booking to secure your order.

Charcuterie Cups, Charcuterie Boxes, Mobile Charcuterie Cart, Grazing Tables, Deluxe Packages, and Wedding Party Tables:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Slate & Honey, each order is custom prepared with fresh, premium ingredients and significant event preparation. For this reason, the following policies apply:

Deposit Refund Schedule:
All deposits made to reserve Charcuterie Cups, Boxes, Grazing Tables, and Wedding Party Tables and add-ons are as follows:

  • 90+ Days prior to event = full deposit refund
  • 89-61 Days prior to event = 50% deposit refund
  • 60-31 Days prior to event = 25% deposit refund
  • 30-14 Days prior to event = 10% deposit refund
  • Less than 14 days prior to event = no deposit refund

Cancellations (Boards & Platters):
Orders for Charcuterie Boards, Veggie Platters, Fruit Platters, and Caviar Platters are non-refundable once booked, as payment is due in full at the time of reservation.

Event Cancellations:
If your event is canceled more than 14 days in advance, payments (excluding non-refundable deposits) may be credited toward a future order within 6 months, subject to availability.

Cancellations within 14 Days:
Orders canceled less than 14 days prior to the event are not eligible for a refund or credit, as product purchasing and preparation will already be underway.

Rescheduling:
We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, but availability is not guaranteed. Any payments already made will be applied to the new date if rescheduling is approved.

No-Shows or Day-Of Cancellations:
No refunds or credits will be issued.

We deeply value our clients and understand that unexpected changes can occur. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust or cancel your order so we can best support you.
